Year 6 have been learning all about woodlands and forests across the year. In the last two weeks each year 6 class has been on a trip to Reservoir to explore and discover different woodland types and how and why they are managed by humans. On the trip, we looked at the different types of trees that grow and the characteristics of each woodland. The children also discussed why one, large area had been cut down.
A lovely day was had by all and some incredible dens were built during lunchtime!
