Year 6 Visit Braunton Burrows

As part of our Geography topic, 6AR visited Braunton Burrows to study the plants that grow there, learn about dune management and also the role that the Burrows played in D-Day preparations. We took measurements at different points to notice geographical patterns including the dune structure, vegetation types, heights, drainage speed and soil development. Led by expert guides, we had an amazing day of learning and gained valuable fieldwork experience.
