On Thursday 28th March some of our Year 6 students participated in a transition choir, aimed to connect them to their future school at Ilfracombe Academy. Six schools in North Devon participated in the event which included a full rehearsal and a final performance in front of a large audience in the Academy's new theatre.
Our children represented our school incredibly well by being professional throughout the rehearsal and exhibiting vocal skill and emotion in the community and solo performances. Everyone in the audience was impressed by their solo song, 'Fight Song' which featured a capella singing, the drum kit and taiko drumming. We are so proud of the Year 6 children that gave their time and energy to this event!
