On Tuesday 17th, Year 6 went to Ilfracombe Academy to take part in Friendship Day. We met some teachers from the academy, who spoke to us about what makes a good friend and how we can show some of the school values such as hope, trust and integrity. We watched some drama performances from current students about scenarios, involving friendships, that we might find challenging and what we could do to help ourselves. We finished with some music and singing where we learned a song about how it would feel on our first day of secondary school!
