Year 6 have had a wonderful time exploring the local area as inspiration for their next pieces of writing which will be based on ‘The Ice Bear’ by Jackie Morris.
Using the areas of Capstone, Hillsborough and the harbour the children engaged all of their senses to create incredible vocabulary and phrase banks. It’s been so lovely to get out in the community and really appreciate the incredible area we live in. We can’t wait to share our writing with you soon!
6HH would like to say a very big thank you to Mr and Mrs Wallace-Cook at ‘The Cookery’ for providing us with some delicious treats while out on our class walk. The biscuits didn’t last long :) thank you both so much!
