Children from Year 3 and Year 4 represented their houses in a New age Curling competition in our school gym on Friday 8th October.
The Year 3 competition was exciting with all the children cheering each other on for the whole time! There was a great fun atmosphere with all the children’s curling skills improving throughout the event.
4th place - Enterprise - 9 points
3rd place - Endeavour - 10 points
2nd place - Discovery - 15 points
1st place - Challenger - 16 points
Our player of the tournament was Finley Leighton, Well done Finley! Well done to all that competed!
House competition running total:
Challenger: 100, Enterprise: 20, Discovery: 60, Endeavour: 40
The Year 4 competition was just as exciting as the Year 3 competition with our children again showing great sportsmanship and supporting each other!
The results of this competition were extremely close with some fantastic curling skills on show!
The results are as follows:
4th place - 10 points - Endeavour
3rd place - 12 points - Discovery
2nd place - 13 points - Challenger
1st place - 13 points - Enterprise
Enterprise was the winner as they beat Challenger in their head-to-head match!
