Year 6 had the pleasure to be visited by published author Gill Lewis. Gill spoke to the children about her life as an author and what inspires her writing. It was wonderful to hear how Gill uses her memories and childhood experiences, as well as her passion for the environment and wildlife to help her write her stories.
The children asked some very insightful questions about being an author and they were given some fantastic advice on how to become passionate about their writing. Her number one tip: read, read and read some more!
