STEM: Studying Biodiversity

6AB took part in a live, virtual science event as part of STEM week. The class took part in a workshop that showed the biodiversity of the south west and why it is important to be able to identify the different types of flora and fauna in our area.

After, we conducted our own biodiversity study around the rewilded areas of the school grounds. It was amazing the vast array of wildlife we found right on our doorstep!

As we continue to learn about the evolution and classification of plants in Science, our botanist skills and knowledge are really beginning to bloom!
