In class, Year 6 have been looking at the story of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Race Against Time. So far, Chitty has travelled to the Cretaceous Period and as a class we have taken her to WW2 to witness the devastation caused by the Blitz.
Next week you will be sending Chitty on her next journey. As homework, decide where you would like to send Chitty and spend some time researching your time period and destination. You could even begin to create some expanded noun phrases, which could be used to describe the setting.
