This year, some of our pupils have been honing their talents as public speakers with the support of Ilfracombe Rotary Club.
For the first time - now to be an Ilfracombe Junior School tradition - we took part in Youth Speak: a national public speaking competition where pupils from schools across the country go head-to-head to discuss key issues that matter to them.
Ziggy Coslett, Ralph Hennessey-White and Rhys Worthington represented our school with their topic: Plastic Pollution: a rubbish issue. They performed amazingly and really captured their audiences interest and engagement. We are very proud of their enthusiasm, courage and energy!
