3CO and 4CH had the pleasure of visiting Ilfracombe Library last week. The British author, Nick Toczek, read and performed a variety of poems from his books to us. The children really loved hearing and watching how writing can be brought to life. It was inspiring to hear that he became an author by writing something every day! Some children have already started writing their own poems and creating their own books of poetry!
We also had the delight of watching Nick perform magic tricks too.
Two signed copies of Nick Toczek's work will be soon available to look at in our school library should you wish to delve into some poetry!
