Coastal Art

We have had Pete Ward and an ambassador from Natural England to do an art workshop with 5OL. Pete Ward finds natural materials from the earth and makes paints out of them (muds, rocks and clays). The children have had the opportunity to hear about where the materials are found (all over North Devon) and make some of their own and eventually paint with it. The focus of the artwork was ‘things that remind you of the coast’ and their work will be displayed at the Natural England Exhibition on the 24th June @ The Landmark.
