On Friday 8th July, children from years 3,4,5 and 6 took part in an inter school Aquathlon competition at Ilfracombe Swimming Pool. Pupils had to swim a number of lengths in the pool and then take on a challenging run in a race against other children from neighbouring schools. Overall, all the pupils gave their best efforts and enthusiasm while competing with Freya Coupland from 5PR even managing to take the silver, second position for her age category! We are immensely proud of all the pupils who took part - as well as it being a physical challenge on an incredibly warm day – they represented the school wonderfully with great attitudes and brilliant sportsperson qualities
