Year 6 went back in time to witness a Victorian Christmas at Arlington Court. Through the rooms we saw traditional decorations such as presents in simple brown paper then wrapped in green or red ribbons with bows. We saw Christmas trees adorned with delicate bows, gleaming silver bells and tinsel that coiled around the branches.
‘I liked Arlington because it showed us how Christmas was celebrated in different times in history.’ Louis Archer 6WS
'The decorations were very detailed like baubles covered in lace or dried slices of oranges.’ Skye Johnson 6WS
