3KJ sail to Lundy!

Last week, we braved the rough seas and sailed over the Bristol Channel to Lundy Island, on the MS Oldenburg.

As we arrived, we were greeted by friendly seals who were bobbing up and down in the sea. After a big climb up the hill, we had lunch and explored the island, spotting wildlife along the way (including the famous Lundy cabbage)! We saw remains of Bronze Age settlements, a Medieval castle, a Georgian lighthouse, the Victorian Church of St Helen and Benson's cave. Finally, we stuck special Lundy stamps on our postcards, to send back to the mainland. We can’t wait to receive them in the post!

We had the best day!
