Ilfracombe Church of England (VC) Junior School

Year 3

Emma Craufurd - Teacher & Year Head

My hopes and dreams are that all the children in my class have a successful and enjoyable time throughout year 4.

"The Gruffalo" is my favourite children's book, I love the rhyming couplets! I am a big fan of lots of the books by Julia Donaldson.

I am really proud of my successes so far as I have completed a degree and now work in a career that I love!

  Tania Slade - Teacher

I hope to have a happy and successful year with my class.

My favourite children's book is You're A Bad Man Mr Gum; it's so inventive and funny.

I am most proud of my two daughters who are both simply wonderful!

 Lauren Caller - Teacher

My hopes this year are for 3LC to be the best that they can be!

My favourite children's book is most definitely The Jolly Postman. You can have hours of fun with it! I'm also a huge fan of anything written by Roald Dahl.

I'm always so proud of each and every child I work with and to see the journey they embark on through our wonderful school. They really are all superstars!

 Ellie Cox - Teacher

I am really looking forward to all the adventures, laughs and positive learning that will happen from September!

My favourite books are by Oliver Jeffers and I can’t wait to share lots of beautiful and interesting books with my new class.

I love living in North Devon and in my spare time my favourite thing to do is to get outside and explore the beaches, in and out of the water!

A big part of my hopes and dreams for the year ahead has already been fulfilled, and that is being a part of this amazing school.

The second is for all the children I work with to feel Happy, Safe and secure. My favourite children's book is CHARLOTTES WEB by E. B WHITE.  Its a tale of how a little girl named Fern, with the help of a friendly spider, saved her pig from the usual fate of nice fat pigs.

I am most proud of my family, my husband Steve and my two children, Sammy and, Maisie who are very special in more ways than one.

Zoe Hancock - LSA

My hopes and dreams for the year ahead are to continue to have fun and make the children I work with happy in their school environment.

My favourite children's book is anything written by Roald Dahl - they are all brilliant!

I am most proud of working in a school and also working part time with children with special needs.

 Sarah Soobhan - LSA

I am looking forward to a very healthy, happy New Year and for everyone else too.

My favourite children's book is Charlotte's Web by E.B.White, a wonderful story that makes me cry every time I read it!

I am so proud of my two children. My daughter has just started University in London and my son has started college.

My hopes and dreams are to continue working with children with special needs and to instil confidence and independence in them.

My favourite children's book has got to be 'Stickman' by Julia Donaldson because I love the festive, happy ending after all the trials and tribulations he goes through!

I am definitely most proud of my two lovely children.

 Emily Blackmore - LSA

My favourite books are anything written by Roald Dahl especially "Fantastic Mr Fox".

I love supporting children in their learning and watching each individual develop.

I'm most proud of my truly, amazing three children. Two of them have been through Ilfracombe Juniors in their schooling years, my little one will join us September 2017.
